Human Skull Candle – Collector’s Edition

Specimen Collection

A life-size wax study of the human skull, cast with extraordinary anatomical detail and hand-finished to evoke the timeworn surface of aged bone.

Every hollow, curve and fissure is carefully preserved, transforming a familiar anatomical form into an arresting sculptural object. As the flame slowly consumes its waxen structure, the skull becomes a quiet meditation on mortality, impermanence and the beauty of what remains.

With an approximate burn time of 50 hours, this Collector’s Edition piece is made for considered interiors and collectors of the unusual.

Part of the FALLOW Specimen Collection, wax studies inspired by nature, the body and what lies between.

Care
Natural wax is soft and delicate, so subtle variations and surface imperfections may occur. The wax may also develop a pale bloom in response to its environment. This is entirely natural and can be gently removed with the warmth of your hand.

Candle safety
Always place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant dish large enough to contain the melting wax. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from draughts, flammable materials, children and pets. Leave at least 10 cm between burning candles and trim the wick to approximately 5 mm before lighting. Do not move the candle while lit or while the wax is molten. This candle is not food or a toy.
